PRIVACY.

Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the waitlist and improve the landing page. No selling, no ads, no surprises.

§ 01

What we collect

When you submit the waitlist form, we collect:

  • EMAIL The address you typed in. Required to email you when ShainBox ships.
  • PLATFORM macOS Apple Silicon, macOS Intel, or Windows. Helps us prioritize which build to ship first.
  • CURRENT TOOL Optional free-text answer about what you use today. Helps us understand the landscape.

When you visit the landing page, we record anonymized session analytics (page views, clicks, scroll depth, viewport size, country-level location). We do not record what you type into any input.

Why we collect it

To run the waitlist. One email when ShainBox is ready. Maybe one or two product updates before that. That's it.

To prioritize builds. If 80% of signups are on Apple Silicon, that's where we focus first.

To improve the landing. Anonymized analytics tell us which sections work, where people drop off, and which devices to design for.

§ 03

Third-party services

Three companies help us run this page. They each see only what they need:

  • MAILERLITE Stores your email and waitlist details, sends the confirmation email. Their privacy policy.
  • CLARITY Microsoft Clarity records anonymized session behavior on this page. No PII. Their privacy statement.
  • GITHUB Hosts this page (GitHub Pages). Logs basic request data (IP, user agent) per their standard logging. Their privacy statement.
§ 04

Your rights

Unsubscribe. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. Click it and you're out.

Delete your data. Email dmitriy.legkov@wearevolt.com with the subject "Delete my data" and we'll wipe your record from MailerLite within 7 days.

Access or correct. Same email — we'll send you whatever we have on file or update it.

If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, GDPR applies and these rights are legally yours. We treat everyone the same way regardless of location.
